Our Wines
Our wines have a clear common thread: elegance, freshness and drinkability, following a well-defined path: elegance, freshness and great drinking pleasure.
Our wines have a clear common thread: elegance, freshness and great drinking pleasure. They are wines designed to be uncorked and shared naturally, without too much thought. They flow easily, invite the next sip and can be enjoyed without the need for complex pairings or special occasions.
We appeal to both the enthusiast and the amateur, but above all to those who love sharing a bottle to take home and open with friends, without worries.
Even the more structured wines, like Barolo, follow this approach: we don’t want wines that require “too much thinking” or an extreme level of expertise to be appreciated.
Wines of the territory
Identity and roots
Dogliani DOCG is probably our winery’s most representative wine, but also the most challenging: difficult to describe, difficult to get people to appreciate, especially abroad.
We make Langhe Nebbiolo because we are in the Langhe. We make Dogliani because we are in Dogliani.
Dolcetto was once everyone’s everyday wine; today, less fashionable, it requires even more passion and commitment to tell its story. That’s precisely why we continue to believe in it: Dogliani is our identity, the thread that connects our history to the land from which it comes.
Wines of choice
Between family tastes and experimentation
Our initial drive was simple, but full of enthusiasm: in our family we love bubbles. Our travels, tastings, the curiosity to discover every nuance of a sparkling wine naturally led us to an almost inevitable decision: to try creating our own bubbles.
Alta Langa
Initially our metodo classico was known mainly as Rosé, a bold and uncommon choice for the time.
Only many years later, well before Alta Langa became a benchmark, we decided to fully embrace the denomination, recognizing ourselves in a project we already felt was deeply ours.
Sauvignon
Sauvignon is one of the latest arrivals, in 2022, produced in about 2,500 bottles. It comes from Massimo’s passion for this grape variety and the desire to create a more ambitious white: vinified in wood, refined in steel and then aged in bottle.
The label is particularly symbolic: the drawings were made by our children. On the front appears only one phrase: “The future is in the hands,” the hands of our children.
Pinot Nero
Pinot Nero has a truly special story. My father, a great Pinot Nero enthusiast, decides together with the winemaker to try growing it in these hills and in the nineties, on a plot right below the house, it was planted almost as a bet.
In the early years the grapes were vinified as white and blended with Chardonnay, while from 1997 red vinification began. We were among the first in the area to dedicate ourselves to Pinot Nero, in a territory where few dared to venture at the time.
